Privacy Policy
Last updated: 2 October 2026. In short: the AIRec app collects nothing and never goes online.
In short
AIRec does not collect, share or sell your personal data. The app does not ask for internet access and contains no advertising or analytics code. Everything you record stays on your phone.
About this policy
AIRec (“the app”) is a screen recorder for Android published by FireClashPro (“we”, “us”). This policy explains what the app does with information, and how this website (airec.fireclashpro.com) handles your data. Contact: support@fireclashpro.com.
Part 1: The AIRec app
Information we collect
We do not collect any personal information through the app.
- No accounts. You do not sign up, log in or give us a name, email address or phone number.
- No internet use. The app does not request the INTERNET permission, so it cannot send your recordings, audio, screenshots or settings anywhere.
- No advertising or analytics. The app contains no ad network, tracker, crash-reporting service or analytics tool, and it does not use the advertising ID.
- On-device processing. Noise reduction, AI voice enhancement, editing and the performance report all run on your phone.
Your recordings (screen video, microphone audio, the phone’s internal audio and screenshots) are created only on your device. They can contain personal or sensitive content that appears on your screen or in your voice. They are yours: we never see them.
Permissions and why the app needs them
| Screen capture | Android asks you to allow it every time you start a recording. It is needed to record what is on your screen. |
|---|---|
| Microphone | Only to record your voice when you choose a microphone option. |
| Playback (internal) audio | When you choose internal audio, Android lets the app capture the sound that other apps play (Android 10 or newer). Apps can block this; Android decides. |
| Display over other apps | For the floating ball, the drawing tools and the window that appears when a recording has been saved. |
| Modify system settings | Only to switch Android’s “Show taps” option on during a recording when you have enabled Show touches, and to restore your original value afterwards. |
| Notifications | To show recording, saving and saved status with Stop and Pause buttons. |
| Foreground services | Recording runs as a foreground service (screen capture and microphone) so Android keeps it alive and shows a visible notification. The floating ball also runs as a foreground service. |
| Run at startup | Only to finish saving a recording that was interrupted by a restart or an empty battery. |
| Storage (Android 9) | To save videos and screenshots to your gallery. On newer Android versions the app uses the system media store and needs no storage permission. |
Where your recordings are kept
Videos and screenshots are saved to your phone’s gallery, in the Movies and Pictures folders (by default in a folder named “AIRec”; you can change the name in Settings). Extracted audio goes to Music/AIRec. While a recording is processed, temporary files are kept in the app’s private storage and removed afterwards. A short list of your last performance reports (frame rate, temperature, battery and load of each recording) is kept in the app’s private storage and can be cleared in the app. None of this leaves your phone.
Diagnostic file
The app keeps a small technical log on the device to help fix problems. It is never sent automatically. If you choose “Share diagnostics” in Settings, the file is handed to the app you pick and you decide whether to send it.
Sharing your recordings
When you tap Share, the video is passed to the app you choose through Android’s share sheet. What that app does with it is governed by that app’s own privacy policy. Please record only what you have the right to record and tell people before you record them.
Part 2: This website
- No analytics and no advertising. The website does not use analytics, advertising or social-media trackers, and it loads no fonts or scripts from other companies.
- Cookies. The bug-report page sets one session cookie (“airec_sid”) that protects the form against forgery. It is deleted when you close the browser and holds no personal data.
- Tutorial video. The YouTube player is only loaded after you press play, using YouTube’s privacy-enhanced mode. After that, YouTube’s own privacy policy applies.
- Google Play. The “Get it on Google Play” button is a link. Google’s privacy policy applies once you open Google Play.
- Server logs. Our web host keeps ordinary technical logs (such as IP address and time of a request) for security and to keep the site running.
The bug-report form
If you send a report, we receive the email address, name (if you give it), phone model, Android and app version, the description and any file you attach. We use them only to investigate the problem and to reply to you. The message is delivered by email to support@fireclashpro.com and is not stored on the website. To limit spam we keep a short-lived, one-way hashed code of your IP address (not the address itself) for up to one hour to count how many reports were sent. We keep reports in our mailbox as long as needed to solve the problem and for a reasonable time afterwards, and we delete them on request. We do not sell or share them.
Children
AIRec and this website are not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect information from children.
Your control and your rights
- In the app: delete any recording from Library or your gallery. Deleted items can be restored from the app’s trash until you empty it. Withdraw permissions at any time in Android Settings → Apps → AIRec → Permissions. Uninstalling removes the app’s private data.
- For the website: you can ask us to see, correct or delete anything you sent through the bug-report form by writing to support@fireclashpro.com.
The app holds no personal data about you on our side, so there is nothing for us to access, correct or delete there.
Open-source software
The AI voice enhancement uses the DeepFilterNet3 model (MIT or Apache-2.0 license, © Hendrik Schröter and contributors) and the ONNX Runtime library (MIT license, © Microsoft Corporation). Both run entirely on your device.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy we will post the new version at this address and update the date at the top. If a future version of the app ever collects data, this policy will be updated before that version is released.
