AIRec is free to install. It has no ads, no account and no watermark on your videos.

Android 9 or newer. Internal audio and echo cancellation need Android 10 or newer, and the trash with restore needs Android 11 or newer.

No. Recording, AI voice cleaning, editing and the performance report all run on your phone, and the app does not request the internet permission.

Videos go to your gallery, in the Movies folder inside a folder named AIRec (you can rename the folder in Settings → Storage). Screenshots go to Pictures, and extracted audio to Music/AIRec.

Android requires your approval for each screen capture, for your safety. AIRec cannot skip this question.

From 480p up to 2880p and from 24 up to 120 fps, as far as your phone’s screen and video encoder support. Auto chooses the smoothest setting your phone can handle.

Video is encoded by your phone’s dedicated hardware, but every screen recorder adds some load. Start with 1080p and Auto frame rate. If the phone gets warm, try 30 fps. The performance report shows the real frame rate, temperature, battery and load for each recording.

Use the floating ball, the notification, the Quick Settings tile or shake your phone (if you turned on Shake to stop).

Apps that protect their content (some streaming and banking apps) tell Android to block screen capture, so their picture can appear black. AIRec cannot change this.

Yes. Choose No audio on the Home screen.

Yes, on Android 10 or newer. Some apps block their sound from being recorded and Android enforces it. AIRec tells you when that happens, and you can use the microphone instead.

When you speak, AIRec turns the internal audio down clearly, then brings it back after you stop, so your voice stays easy to hear.

AI mode cleans your voice with an AI model after you stop recording. It reduces fans, traffic, crying, animals, horns, bells, knocking and sudden bangs. This needs extra processing, so saving takes longer, especially for long recordings. Standard and Strong work live and save faster.

Only partly. If the other person is much quieter than you, it helps. If they talk as loudly as you, no filter can separate the two voices.

When the phone plays sound, your microphone also hears it from the speaker. Echo cancellation removes that copy from your voice track so sound is not recorded twice.

None. The app has no internet permission, no ads, no analytics and no account. Your recordings stay on your phone. See the privacy policy.

For the floating ball, the drawing tools and the saved-recording window. It is optional: recording works without it.

Show touches uses Android’s own “Show taps” option. AIRec switches it on while you record and puts your original value back afterwards.

Common reasons are low storage, the phone closing the app to save battery, a timed recording, or Stop when the screen turns off. Run Settings → Reliability → Setup and health, and use Recover unfinished recordings if a recording was interrupted.
